Gizem Konyar
Gizem Konyar, brings together the rituals of humanity she observed from Anatolia, their lives and their lives, and combines them with fiber art. She explores the difficulties faced by human beings in life, their efforts to live and their daily rituals. She tries to obtain living surfaces by bringing sheep wool, one of the materials she uses, from different regions of Anatolia. She creates variable textures by applying her works to different fabric surfaces by visualizing that people repeat themselves and turn into patterns with the art of embroidery. It shows the reflection of the complex layout in real life by using the reverse effect consisting of the reflection of the clean image on the front surface to the back surface with the free stitch technique.
