HOMOCATS
Created by Brooklyn artist J. Morrison in 2010, HOMOCATS is a visual art project connecting the modern popularity of the feline with social politics. We publish zines, artist books, and prints alongside a line of handmade screenprinted goods. We aim to fight phobias, propose equal rights, combat cultural stereotypes, question social norms, and to make the world a better place. In 2019, HOMOCATS participated in 29 art fairs and events worldwide. We exhibited internationally at ZONAMACO in Mexico City, The Tokyo Art Book Fair, the Vancouver Art Book Fair, Edition Toronto, and was sponsored as a special guest at the first Vienna Art Book Fair alongside Printed Matter. We are celebrating our 10th year anniversary with new special print editions.
