Fanzineist Vienna – International Mail Art Book & Zine Exhibition

In response to an international open call, nearly 500 packages containing approximately 1,200 art books and zines were submitted by artists, independent publishers, and zine collectives from around the world.

The Fanzineist Vienna – International Mail Art Book & Zine Exhibition brings together contributions from 61 countries, including:

Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Macau (China), Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherlands, Tibet (China), Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, Uruguay, Wales

This exhibition presents a vibrant and diverse selection of printed matter, ranging from handmade zines and experimental artist books to self-published catalogues and conceptual publications. Each contribution reflects a distinct voice, context, and artistic approach.
