Natalia Velarde / Tarde y Triste Ediciones (Madrid, ES)
My name is Natalia Velarde and I am a freelance comic artist, fanzine artist and illustrator. Born in Venezuela and based in Madrid since 2005. Graduated in Fine Arts. Recently I have been granted the Injuve Aid for Young Creation 2021, comic project in which I am currently working. Tarde y Triste ediciones is my self-publishing micro-label, which I use almost mainly to publish my work with total freedom (“Naguará”, “En cucha ardiendo se duerme a ratos”, “De mayor dibujante”, “Lupercalia”, “Seengawayani”, “PTEHC”), but also occasionally I use it as a platform to help other new authors who want to self-publish and don’t know how (“AQUALUNG”, “Una gran expectativas sobre Nada” both by Rach Gori, “Si me abres la cabeza sale humo frío” by Marina Groig, “LOVE(MAL)” by Blankipur).
